The Plot Line:

Leela's wrist communicater went hang wire and woke her up late. She dosen't want to be late and takes a shower at work. Hermes is recording messages to himself when he hears leela singing in the shower. He records her and lets everyone listen. They all agree that she has a really great voice and that she could become a singer. Zoidberg says he knows someone in the buisness and offers to take the tape to the person as a demo.leela dosen't think her voice is that great but agrees anyway. She meets a girl named Zakara who wants to take Leela as a backup singer. Zakara becomes friends with Leela and Leela begins to blow off work to go hang out with celebrities. Fry, Amy and Hermes all try to persuade her to come back to work. She ignores them and is then invited to preform at the 342nd annual singer's junction with every celebrity coming. Zakara and her backup singer's; Aria, Gali Topian and Leela are scheduled to preform. When they sing, they findout that Leela's voice is too strong and it covers up everyone's voice. She is than fired and is really depressed. Suddenly, a man named Blaze offers to be her manager and help her launch a solo career.Leela atomatically falls in love love with him.She sings one hit song that becomes number one on the charts. She acts snotty to her friends who say they miss her. Leela gets mad because she claims that no one cared about her until she got famous and now they want to be her friend. She sings a few more songs that hit it big and decides to go on a tour, as by the way, she is having a romantic affair with Blaze. She preforms at Madison Cube Garden. She see's all the addoring fans when she see's that some crazed fans are poking out one of their eyes to be more like her. She then stops the concert and says that she has retired from singing. She is offered to have a sugery done to have 2 eyes and be normal. she says no, as Blaze confesses that he would marry Leela only if she had 2 eyes and that he never really loved her until she became famous. She gets so mad that she beats up Blaze and leaves him. She goes back to Planet Express where she has to beg for forgiveness of the crew and her friends.
