Cut to later that night in the same waiting room. Leela, Bender (he rejoined
them somewhere along the line), Zoidberg, and Farnsworth are hanging around.
Bender steals some cash out of the snack machine. The doctor enters the
room.
Doctor: The operation was successful.
A nurse comes in indeed carrying Fry`s head-in-a-jar.
Doctor: Right now he`s resting, but he should awaken shortly. You`re free
to take him, we`ll let you know when the body`s ready.
Leela takes Fry`s head-in-a-jar and looks sadly at it. The gang gathers up
their stuff and heads for the door. Zoidberg stays to have a word with the
doctor.
Zoidberg: Now, are you sure you cut his neck above the main body outer
casing?
Cut to Planet Express in the morning. Bender is sitting on the couch
watching TV, Fry`s head is in the seat next to him.
Fry`s head: (moans)
Bender: The skin tube`s head is waking up!
The crew runs into the room.
Fry`s head: (Mumbles abd moans) Oh, what happened? [cheers up] Oooh! I
didn`t miss "All My Circuits"!
Leela: Fry! Are you alright?
Fry`s head: Why do you say that? I feel great. Come to think of it, I can`t
feel anything below my neck.
Fry suddenly looks down.
Fry`s head: AHHHHHH!!! What happened!?!? Where`s the rest of me?!?!
Professor: Now calm down,Fry.
Fry`s head (frantically): Calm down?! I`m all dis-com-apart-separated-not
all there!!
Professor: It was a measure that had to be taken. Now relax and have
something to eat.
Fry`s head: What are we having?
Professor: Oh, we`re going out to a brand new fancy all you can eat buffet
.... but not you.
The professor sprinkles some head-in-a-jar food that very closely resembles
fish food in Fry`s tank.
Fry`s head: (Grumbles) I DO NOT like this.
Cut to the next day, the crew is off on a delivery on the ship. Inside,
Bender is sitting by a control panel, and Leela is driving with Fry`s head
in her lap.
Fry`s head: So, where we going?
Leela: This nice little planet called Monsteran.
Fry`s head: MONSTERan? Is it inhabited by giant alien monsters?!
Leela: There you go again! Don`t worry, the professor told me that it`s just
a name.
Fry`s head: That`s what he said when he convinced us to go to Cannibalon.
