Fry is walking back and forth across the ship. In the background Leela is laying on a couch with a compress on her head.

Fry: Okay, I have to calm down. All I have to do is remember what Leela told me and I`ll be fine.

A thought bubble appears over his head and Leela in it.

Fry`s thought of Leela: You idiot!

The thought bubble disappears and Fry groans.

Fry: We`re on our way back, if I can steer us towards Earth, we might make it!

Fry takes the captain`s seat and looks at the controls. He presses a few buttons and waits. Nothing happens.

Fry: Hmmm.

Cut to the outside of the ship, it`s light up with Christmas lights that spell out "Merry Xmas 2985!" (Fry activated it.)

Fry: Okay, I can`t panic.

Bender taps Fry on the shoulder. When Fry looks up, Bender points out the front window, they`re set to crash!

Fry: Alright, I think it`s safe for me to panic now!

Fry starts running around in circles screaming.

Fry: Oh, I shouldn`t of ignored Leela`s lessons!

Recording of Leela`s voice: That`s all I needed to hear.

Fry stops dead in his tracks.

Fry: Leela?

A TV screen appears in front of him with Leela`s face on it.

Recording of Leela: Knowing you, I set up this program just in case of emergency. I`ll guide you and the ship home.

Fry: Wait, if this program was set up all along, why didn`t it go off the minute I needed help?

Leela: Because I enjoy watching you sweat. I taped it all to view later for some payback.

The image of Leela smirks.

Recording or Leela: Now, Fry. Just grab that thing that looks like a TV remote and that other thing that looks like the top of a beer can and rotate them north while steering.

Fry: Well, if you`d only explained it like that in the first place we wouldn`t be in this mess!

Recording of Leela: Just do it before we crash!

Fry looks outside to see that they`re still on a collision course.

Fry: Yes, Ma'am!

Fry gets to work steers the ship in the right direction.

Fry: We`re going to make it! Now, what do I do next?

Recording of Leela: To land the ship you simply [static].

Suddenly, the recording is cut out and Leela`s face turns to static.

Fry: What happened?!

Bender is seen in the background, he spilled beer on some ship controls. Bender stands in front of the mess, an innocent look on his face.

Fry: Leela?! Oh, no!

He resumes panicking and in the process trips over a lever and they go zooming at top speed for Earth! Fry screams, and the screen fades out. Reappear Fry in Hermes`s office.

Hermes: The good news is that you got the rest of the crew home and delivered the package. In fact, I`m so impressed, I declare this day "Friday", spelled with an `i', of course.

Fry smiles happily.

Hermes: The bad news is YOU TOTALLY DESTROYED THE SHIP AND THE LANDING BAY WHEN YOU CRASHED!

Fry gulps.

Hermes: But, because of the fact that Leela admits to not having taught you how to land, you won`t be fired. Instead we`ll be deducting about fourty dollars a week from your salary.

Fry: But that`s the exact amount extra I`m getting for being alternate captain!

Hermes: So everything turns out just as it was before this whole episode started. Now get outta my office!

Fry leaves and runs into Leela outside the door.

Fry: You okay, Leela?

Leela: Yeah, I`m fine.

Fry: [pauses] You want to do something tonight?

Leela: No thank you, I`ve got plans.

Fry takes his hand from behind his back and reveals the tape of him panicking on the delivery.

Fry: Now, you don`t.

Leela: Hey! Where`d you find that?

Fry: I have my ways.

Leela grabs the tape from him easily when Fry lookes another way for a second. Leela smiles. Bender walking by takes the tape from Leela.

Bender: Yoink! This is going on my webpage! Me and Zapp Brannigan will be merging in a few weeks.
