Buford McFly has just fallen in the horse manure when some people on horseback arrive. Buford's henchmen identify one of them as the town marshall.
Henchman#1: Do you know what I think?
Henchman#2: I think that Buford's going to jail.
Henchman#3: Yeah.
They try to run, but they are too late. The marshall's men go after the henchmen while the marshall stops at the manure crate. He sees Buford's legs sticking out of the manure.
Marshall: Get him out of that shit.
Buford is pulled out of the manure and the marshall points his gun at him.
Marshall: Buford McFly, you're under arrest for robbing the city bank. Do you have anything to say?
Buford: I hate manure.
Later in the day, after Buford and his henchmen have been taken to jail. Fry, Stacy, Leela, and Bender went to a lawyer's office to hear Dr. Hubble's will be read. They found out that Dr. Hubble willed everything to Stacy.
Leela: Now we can think about what power sources can get our time machine up to 100 mph.
Stacy: Wait a minute! I know that I also inherited a steam locomotive.
Bender: That's it! The locomotive can push the machine to 100 mph!
Stacy: It could, but you forgot one thing. The fastest steam locomotives go 50 mph.
Fry: Then we'll use whatever is necessary to make the fire burn hotter and longer.
Leela: There is another problem. We can't run this experiment on the main line.
Stacy: Your problem has just been solved. About a couple of miles from the city, there is a switch on the main line. The track that switches off from the main line leads to an unfinished bridge that crosses a river.
Fry: About the power sources. Stacy, do you think that alcohol might make the fire burn hotter and longer?
Stacy: Indeed so. [She gives Fry some money.]Fry, here is some money. Go to the saloon and buy the five strongest liquors they have.
Fry returns a few minutes later, and finds Stacy and Leela operating a machine that is turning pieces of wood into sawdust.
Fry: What the hell is going on?
Leela: Since dark matter doesn't exist, we are going to make it from scratch.
The sawdust is taken from the chopper and it is put into another machine along with the liquor that Fry bought.
Bender[seeing the liquor go into the machine]: There goes some damn good alcohol.
Stacy: This machine will form the alcohol and sawdust into a ball of heavy matter that will make a fire burn hotter and longer.
A few minutes later the ball of heavy matter comes out of the machine. It is the size of a bowling ball, completely black, and it weighs twenty pounds.
The next morning. The locomotive has been warmed up and the machine has been placed on the tracks. Stacy gets behind the controls and drives the locomotive down the main line and stops it at the switch. Leela and Fry throw the switch and the locomotive goes onto the same track that has the time machine on it. The switch is thrown back to its original position after the locomotive has passed. The locomotive is stopped right behind the machine and its doors are opened and the ball of matter is loaded into the cab. Fry and Leela get into the cab when they see that the doors are open.
Leela: What are the front doors open for?
Stacy: It's my way of getting into the machine after I've thrown the ball of matter into the firebox.
Bender: I thought that you were going to stay here.
Stacy: Not at all. I have fallen in love with Fry and I also want to see the future.
Leela and Bender get into the machine and Fry and Stacy stay in the cab. She starts up the locomotive and it begins to push the time machine. When the locomotive reached 25mph, Fry and Stacy threw the ball of matter in the firebox. Then they exited the cab and slowly walked along the platform above the wheels. They got to the front of the locomotive and carefully walked across the coupler to the roof of the machine. Leela opened the door and the Fry and Stacy stepped in the machine. By then the speed was up to 50 mph. Leela set the destination time to June 20, 3000 and locked the start button so that the machine would automatically begin the timewarp once the speed reached 100mph. When the speed reached 90mph, the end of the track was a mile away from the locomotive. The speed was 98mph when the crew saw the "End Of Track" sign. The machine hit 100mph and vanished into the future just a few seconds before it was supposed to hit the sign. The locomotive split the sign to shreds!
and continued until it went off the unfinished bridge, fell into the river, and sank. Meanwhile, the time machine made it back to the year 3000 safely. Fry and Stacy wanted to work together but Stacy eventually had to see the fate assignment officer. Stacy was assigned a job that did not involve working for a delivery company. Fry and Stacy still lived together and eventually married.
