WELCOME TO THE 2nd FUTURAMA FAN-O-RAMA AWARDS, WE ARE LIVE FROM NEW NEW YORK!!!!!!!!

The vast crowd cheers and Fry and Leela take the stage. Fry enters sporting a blue tuxedo with a white carnation while gulping down a can of Slurm. Leela, wearing her hair down, models a sparkling silver gown with a slit down the side. She frowns as she notices Fry`s beverage and knocks it out of his hand.
"Hey, everyone!", Fry greets them and a cheer erupts.
"Wow, this has grown since the last time we were here.", Leela exclaims and then continues. "Anyway, we`ve got a great evening planned for you. Including a musical number for whatever wins best song! You know, when we were asked to host the Fan-o-rama awards for the second time in a row, we were overjoyed! In fact, to show the people from the Fan-o-rama our appriciation, we got them a little gift."
"Yeah, a restraining order from Bender to prevent what happened the first time.", Fry chuckles.
"Moving on to our first award, this one`s for epsiode with best special effects / CGI animation.", Leela is handed the envelope. "And the winnder is... `A Clone of My Own'!!!"
"Now, we were going to get all great the people who spent countless hours working on the computer animation on Futurama to accept this award, but I thought that was too boring. I mean, who knows those people anyway? So, instead, I got someone that we`ll actually appriciate, Pamela Anderson Lee`s head-in-a-jar!", Fry happily says and the crowd screams wildly.
"Fry...", Leela growls but a camera man makes a moton to remind her that they`re on the air live and she puts on a forced smile. Pamela accepts the award and Fry takes the microphone again. "Now for the awards for Best 2nd Season episode and Funniest Episode."
"And the winners are..... `When Aliens Attack' and `My Three Suns'!!!"
Matt Groening`s head-in-a-jar, rolled on a cart, it taken onto the stage.
"Wow. I won..... this is a surprise. No, I`m just kidding. Thanks to everyone! Even though this award really means squat, it`s a great honor."
An audience member yells, "Matt is God!"

"Next up is the award for best male character!", Fry announces with a smile. "I wonder who will win this time?" Leela takes the envelope, opens it, and dosen`t look all that thrilled with the result.
"Bender!!"
Bender runs on stage, takes the award from Leela (stealing her ring in the process) and grabs the microphone.
"I would just like to thank me! I did it! I win! Losers! Man am I going to get drunk tonight!"
Suddenly, interupting the "touching" moment, two peace officers run on stage.
"Alright, buddy, you`re coming with us.", the human one says.
"Wait, you`ve got the wrong guy!", Bender says in his defense as he is dragged off the stage. The camera follows him, but Fry and Leela move it back toward them.
"Nothing to see here", Fry chuckles
"We`ll be back after these important messages!", Leela says, matching Fry`s slightly nervous tone.

Hi, everyone. Seems like the famous Outlet/CGEF/Archive room has been filled with so much corruption lately. We need a moderator that has a good reputation, knows her way around, and will not abuse the privlidge. Marissa is well known through the Fan-o-rama, the only steady Futurama newsletter since September 1999. Marissa for moderator! Paid for by the commitee for Marissa for Futurama chat room moderator.

"We`re back!", Fry and Leela say as they take the stage.
"Next award up is for best female character.", Leela announces as Fry takes the envelope.
"And the winner is..... LEELA!!" The crowd cheers as Fry claps and backs away for Leela to accept the award.
"Oh, dear god! I can`t believe; again? Wow! I just can`t believe I won a second time. I never realised that so many people out there like me. You do like me! Oh thank you-thank you.....Now if only I cound find a date. Hey does anyone know where that Matthew Lenahan guy lives.... Anyways, thank you all!"
"And now the award for best song.....", Fry says as he walks back to the stage.
"`The Original Futurama Theme!!'", Leela announces. "Ummm.... we were planning a big music number, but the song that won has no words to it.", Leela says nervously and her and Fry laugh forced chuckles. The spotlight goes to Hermes in the audience, dressed for the occasion, with a huge caylpso band seated behind him.
"Jah-dammit!", Hermes grumbles.
Leela catches the eye of a stage worker and whispers, "Was this ceremony planned by a 14-year-old?!"
"I`ll get us out of this.", Fry whispers to Leela. He walks over to the concert stage, pulls a kazoo out of his pocket, and plays the Futurama Theme to be met with a loud cheering of the crowd.
"Now the award you`ve all been waiting for!", Leela yells out.
"Best Futurama website!", Fry backs her up. "And the award goes to....."
"THE FUTURAMA OUTLET!!!!", they both yell together.
"This just in, we`ve recieved a statement to read on the air.", Leela says enthusiastically and takes a slip of paper. "`Wow!! I don't know what to say, (holds back tears) it's just such an honor to be voted by fans. (breaks down and cries) It's actually just the fans voting for themselves since the site is pretty much the fans submissions and our (the web guys) tidbits thrown in here and there. I hope all the fans are still having a ball creating stuff for the Outlet and for many more seasons to come. (FOX permitting that is) Thanks everyone and in the great words of Bender Unit 22: 1010000100100010000100010002'"
"Well, another 20 issues past and another Fan-o-rama awards come to a close, see you next time!"
"On behalf of everyone here tonight, we would like to thank the producers and everyone involved in making the show that runs our lives called Futurama. Without them this could not be possible!", Leela says in closing.
"Goodnight everyone!!!", Leela and Fry yell to the crowd.
