by: Drew Ciccotelli

Setting: Bender is at his work Big Bob’s Big Bending. His Boss walks over to him.

Big Bob: “Bender get your circuits in gear you lazy, worthless robot.”

Bender: “This is too much work for even Little Al the giant robot bender to do.”

Big Bob: “I don’t care how much work it is just do it.” “Do you know what these girders are used for?”

Bender: “Uh, no I don’t.”

Big Bob: “Well that’s good because you’re not supposed to know.”

Bender: “Why is that?”

Big Bob: “None of your business, now get to work.”

Later Bender is gather around his fellow workers and they are discussing how to find what the girders are used for.

Lifter: “We could lift the factory up and see if they keep them there.”

Wasted Metal: “Maybe they use them to kill?”

Mover: “Not a chance.”

Bender: “We must find out for the good of our circuits and for the rest of robot kind.”

They all storm the office of Big Bob.

Bender: “Come out of there you coward and tell us what the girders are used for?”

Big Bob: “I’ll never tell and you can’t make me.”

Bender: “Yes we can.”

Big Bob: “No you can’t”

Bender: “Lifter, lift the door open.”

Lifter: “Right away.”

Bender: “Here we come.”

Inside the Office they found posters for Suicide Booths and blueprints to build them.

Bender: “These girders are for Suicide Booths?”

Big Bob: “I didn’t want to tell you because I thought you would quit on me.”

Bender: “Well you were right, I quit.”

Big Bob: “Dang it.”

Bender walks around the city wondering what to do now that he has been responsible for building Suicide Booths and decides to end his life the same way people do, with a Suicide Booth. So he walked until he found one and stood behind a guy in a red blazer and went in supposedly never to come out.
