Leela is playing with Nibbler on the floor of her apartment when the video
phone rings. Right after that, an alarm goes off and a computer voice says,
"Landlord alert! Landlord alert! Hide all pets!"
Leela: Thank goodness for the "Your Landlord`s Coming Alert 3000"!
Leela hides Nibbler and answers the video phone.
Leela`s landlord (over the video phone): Leela! I`m coming over to
inspect the apartment. I`ve been getting hints that you`ve been hiding
a pet over there.
The camera backs up to show a full view of Leela`s apartment. Everywhere
there are Nibbler`s claw and bite marks, toys food, ect.
Leela: What gave you that idea?
FUTURAMA THEME
Fry and Bender are watching TV in their apartment. There`s a knock on
the door, and Fry goes to answer it. Leela is standing there looking
unusually pleasant.
Leela: Hi, Fry!
Fry: Hi, what up?
Leela: Fry, you`re a really nice guy.
Fry: Uh, thanks.
Leela: The kind of guy that would drop everything to do a friend a favor.
Fry: Yeah!!
Leela: Then you`ll monster-sit Nibbler for a little while.
Fry: Yeah!! Wait, no!!
Leela: Too late!
Leela hands Fry Nibbler.
Fry: But I can`t....
Leela: Fry, please!
Leela looks at Fry and Fry crumbles.
Fry: Oh, okay. I`ll do it.
Leela: Thank you so much! Bye, sweetie!
Fry: Bye!
Leela: Not you, Nibbler!
Leela waves goodbye and leaves.
Nibbler: Araghh! Hissss!
As soon as Leela is gone, Nibbler begins biting and scratching at Fry.
Outside the door, Leela hears the noise and heads back. She opens the
door to reveal Fry and Nibbler choking each other like Homer and Bart.
When they notice her they stop and smile happily at her. Leela smiles back,
waves goodbye, and leaves for the last time.
Nibbler: Grrr! Aggggh!
Fry: Ahhhh! Get it off! Get it off! Bender, help!
Bender: Oh, alright.
Bender grabs Nibbler and throws him into his chest cavity. Nibbler`s
clawing and screeching can still be heard.
Fry: Bender! You can`t do that, we promised to take care of him!
Bender: We? You`re on your own!
Bender takes out Nibbler, who hisses and charges after Fry. Fry yells
and runs. Cut to Bender watching TV on the couch and Nibbler chasing Fry
around in the background. Fry runs in the kitchen looking for something
that would stop Nibbler. He fishes through empty bottles of beer,
bachelor chow, and other things until he finds an unopened can of Slurm.
Fry opens the can and sprays some at Nibbler, who drinks it and suddenly
becomes very woozy.
Nibbler: Awwwwwk
(Thump) Nibbler falls to the floor and Fry calms down.
Fry: Whew, that`s over with.
Nibbler is still lying on the floor not moving.
Fry: Oh no!! I killed it!!
